IVF in India
IVF (in vitro fertilisation) is a fertility treatment in which eggs are collected from the ovaries, fertilised with sperm in a laboratory, and the resulting embryo is placed in the uterus. It is the most widely used assisted reproduction treatment for couples who have not conceived naturally. In India, IVF is provided by registered clinics under the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021.

FAQs
What is the success rate of IVF? Success depends mainly on the woman's age, egg quality and the cause of infertility; your fertility specialist gives you a personal estimate after tests.
Can we do IVF on a short trip? Some steps, like baseline tests, can be planned before you travel, but most couples need about 3 to 4 weeks in India for a fresh cycle.
Can extra embryos be frozen? Yes. Good-quality extra embryos can be frozen for a future transfer without repeating stimulation.
Is surrogacy available for international patients? No. Indian law does not permit surrogacy for foreign nationals; we can explain what options are available to you.
